The week so far ...

This week has seen a fair amount of activity along the Overcliff with a fleeting visit from HMS Severn to Poole Bay.


The Portsmouth-based warship has just returned from narrow waterways around Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Orkney Islands where the training of navigators hoping to serve aboard carriers HMS Queen Elizabeth and Prince of Wales has been underway . To learn more about HMS Severn click here.


BCP beach front staff have been busy clearing the sand on the Promenade left over from Storm Eunice in February has been underway with heavy plant moving large amounts of sand back onto the beach.



Today (17th March) the weather has really taken a turn for the better with bright sunshine and much warmer temperatures, with forecasts of more of the same into next week.
